On December 9, Era Art Bar and Lounge in Oakland hosted a Monte Carlo Night benefit for the Fluegelman Bunnell Fund. Attendees packed the place to mingle, listen to music, eat food provided by Oakland's Kingston 11, and play table games. They weren't playing for money, but for the chance to win prizes ranging from hotel and restaurant packages to sports tickets to memorabilia such as an autographed Steph Curry basketball and Golden State Warriors T-shirt. And the real winners will be the college-bound high school seniors who will receive laptop computers paid for with funds raised at the event.
